Job description
The position:Applicants should have excellent academic qualifications in legal philosophy and European Union law, as well as in the areas where these two disciplines overlap. Equivalent credentials in legal philosophy and European law are desired, along with the corresponding ability to fully represent both legal philosophy and European law in research and teaching. The relevance of the tradition of legal philosophy or of contemporary legal theory should be reflected in their scholarship, as should an in-depth examination of particularly the foundations, theories and dynamics of European integration and the European constitutional order. Furthermore, applicants should be able to conduct interdisciplinary research and to engage in international contemporary debates concerning legal matters or questions of legal policy and social issues. Habilitation or equivalent academic achievement (‘second book’) is desirable.Your academic profile:

- Outstanding research achievements, excellent publication and funding record, international reputation
- Proven leadership qualities

- Experience in designing and managing large research projects
- Enthusiasm for excellent teaching and supervision at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral level
- Willingness to take on organisational and administrative responsibilities within the Faculty and/or the University
