Job Title: Fixed Plant Fitter
Location: Basingstoke
Salary: £55,000 – £65,000
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday to FridayOverview:
My client, a leading manufacturer are looking for a skilled Fixed Plant Fitter to join the team. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing processing plant equipment, helping to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.Key Responsibilities:

• Perform planned and emergency maintenance on plant machinery such as conveyors, screens, and separators
• Develop and improve preventative maintenance systems to reduce downtime
• Assist with new equipment installations and fabrication tasks as needed
• Identify and suggest ways to improve plant processes

Candidate Requirements:

• Strong technical knowledge of static plant machinery
• Experience with hydraulics, electrical repairs, and welding desired
• Ability to plan and carry out maintenance schedules effectively
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Solid understanding of health and safety practices
• Flexible and able to work to deadlines
• Full UK driving licence
