You will be required to deliver the highest standards of support to our service users.
The purpose of the role is to undertake financial assessments for service users in accordance with current legislation and departmental policies. You will be expected to liaise with service users, other organisations and professionals as required providing support with all aspects of the financial assessment. The role is fast moving and demanding, and you must have a proven history of working to very tight deadlines whilst still delivering an excellent service to our service users.Having excellent organisation and communication skills is an essential requirement for this post. You will be responsible for calculating care charges for service users and entering information onto the financial system, which must be done with accuracy and precision. Hence, we are looking for someone with excellent computer and organisational skills.Having knowledge of the relevant Care Act 2014 and benefit legislation and experience of calculating benefit entitlement is desirable.It is essential that you can to cope with a demanding workload and be able to support other team members with the overall responsibilities of the team.
