IN2Consult / Financial Accountant / PQ, ACA OR ACCA Only / Spitalfields / up to £65,000 pa / Hybrid / Requires fintech, financial services or banking backgroundIN2Consult are partnering with an international fintech company based in the Spitalfields area of London. We need a part qualified candidate in either ACA or ACCA, CIMA will not be considered for this role. We also need you to have experience in fintech, financial services or banking to be successful. For the right candidate we can offer up to £65,000 pa & two days of remote working per week. However the main incentive is the opportunity to work in a rapidly expanding company with exciting growth opportunities. Please see below the responsibilities & key required skills –Responsibilities –

• Conduct routine accounting and reconciliation processes for key trading account balances, including scheme debtors, merchant creditors, and FX clearing.
• Analyse and reconcile data from multiple systems to identify control gaps and discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Product, Treasury, and Finance teams to investigate inconsistencies, understand their root causes, and implement corrective measures.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for reconciliations under your purview, leveraging your accounting expertise to ensure compliance with IFRS requirements.
• Establish robust documentation and processes for period-end closing and audit purposes.
• Continuously seek opportunities to enhance data integrity, quality, automation, control strength, and operational and reporting efficiency.
• Engage in project work or product development initiatives alongside your daily responsibilities.
• Work closely with both internal and external auditors to facilitate timely and successful audits.

Key Skills & Competencies –

• Part qualified, ACA or ACCA only
• Background in fintech, financial services or banking required
• Experienced in a high volume transaction environment
• Very strong MS Excel skills
