The ESD design team supports the full SCE product portfolio, which includes state of the art products including those for mobile wallet, IoT security and secure ranging. These products are made possible by cutting edge technologies like NFC, RFID & UWB. The team is based in Gratkorn, Austria.Your responsibilities:Develop a full understanding of ESD requirements and the performance of ESD protection devices for the technologies used in SCE productsPropose ESD protection concepts for new products, new IC technologiesCollaborate on design of ESD protection devicesDesign verification of the implementation of the ESD conceptSimulate performance of ESD protection to verify the protection implementationWork with Product Engineering on ESD testing and results analysis for new productsYour profile:Have a Master or PhD degree in Electronic Engineering or in a similar fieldGood understanding of analog circuit design and layoutUnderstanding of basic device physics and parasitic CMOS devicesFamiliar with Cadence tool flow for analog IC developmentYour personal traits:Good analytical, problem-solving skillsGood team player with ability to work across teams and sitesGood communication and reporting skillsProactive working attitudeReady to create a smarter world?
