McCarthy Stone are recruiting a professional Care Supervisor to join our team at our prestigious Austen Place development in Alton, Hampshire.Hourly rate: £15.00 per hour day rate and £12.24 sleeping night rate per hour plus earn up to £1 for every hour worked from midnight Friday to midnight Sunday.Hours: 33 per week (includes day and sleeping night shifts)Day shifts vary between 08:45am and 16:30pm or between 16:15pm to 09:30pm. Night shifts are from 21:30pm to 09:00amOur Care Supervisors sleep between 23:00pm and 07:00am providing emergency support only to our homeowners throughout that period.Built in 2018, Austen Place is a Retirement Living Plus development that consists of 56 apartments with the over 70’s in mind, providing excellent on-site facilities and set within beautiful grounds. About the role:We are seeking a professional Care Supervisor to exemplify the high-quality customer standards that we are renowned for.   • You will be a warm, friendly, organised, and self-motivated individual with experience of working in a care or support environment and excellent care skills.
  • You will want to work in the Health and Social care sector and preferably have a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 3 qualification, although consideration will be given to a candidate with an alternative qualifications and relevant experience.
  • Keen to take on the responsibility of managing the security of the development, looking after the safety and wellbeing of the homeowners, and overseeing the Care and Support teams.
  • Able to co-ordinate and facilitate activities that help strengthen the community spirit within the development.
  • Driven to continue to grow their skills and will want to lead by example and think on their feet.
  • Able to make a difference to the wellbeing and happiness of older people.
