We are now recruiting for an experienced Duty Manager to join our growing team at recently opened The ClarenceThe Clarence is the latest venture from Cultar Restaurant Group, who also run Michelin starred Cail Bruich & Michelin recommended Brett & offers a modern brasserie, grill & bar concept in the leafy west end neighbourhood of Hyndland.We pride ourselves in being a relaxed and quality dining establishment, focusing on great, personable service and excellent product knowledge to guide guests through their dining experience in our open kitchen restaurant.We are keen to hear from individuals with experience in delivering high quality service, leading a team and excellent wine knowledge – though some training will be given.The salary & benefits package includes:
- Starting salary of £28,000 depending on experience plus a share of TRONC tips from service charge & cash tips

About the RoleAssisting the restaurant manager in the day-to-day running of the restaurant, which can include:
- Ensuring service standards are met by the team
- Guest interaction including email, phone and in-person communications
- Assisting with the development of wine and drinks lists, including costings
- Maintaining good communication with the kitchen and front-of-house teams
- Be a key-holder for the venue, including opening and cashing-up
About YouWe are looking for a hospitality professional who is passionate about delivering excellent service and enjoys developing a team, providing consistent support to the restaurant manager throughout their role. You will naturally lead by example and be a supporting manager to our junior team members. You will be constantly looking to improve the team, leading to a better experience for guests and helping to create an enjoyable work culture.Our Duty Manager must have:
