Job Description Summary GE Vernova’s Power Conversion business provides electrification systems that are critical to customers’ power and energy needs for their high-performance applications. We work with some of the world’s major energy, maritime and industrial organizations, helping to enable a transition to energy efficiency and decarbonization, including through our specialist motors, drives and control technologies.Job DescriptionThe role involves enhancing customer experiences through the use of collaboration and digital workplace technologies. The position requires direct interaction with customers and providing technical leadership to facilitate the adoption of new technologies and tools. The goal is to continually improve customer satisfaction by leveraging new technologies and analytics. The role will be based between the Whetstone and Rugby locations and will require an amount of remote site support for Portsmouth and Glasgow locations.Responsibilities:Research, learn, and deliver training to end users on current collaboration tools and digital workplace technologies.Analyze and optimize customer technology adoption processes to identify and address gaps, improving customer satisfaction and success.Engage directly with customers to understand their current use of digital workplace technologies and identify opportunities for additional benefits from new technologies or features.Provide timely and proactive communications to stakeholders regarding significant issues and developments.Develop and report metrics such as adoption rates, training statistics, and customer survey results.Act as the primary point of contact for customers, managing both verbal and written communications with stakeholders and external vendors.Act a first point of contact for hands and eye support for the Whetstone site in regards to the Navsys2 environment and will take on the duties of patching and performing local backups of the air gapped environments at both primary locations.Qualifications / Requirements:Experience with Naval/Defence sector working with MoD (preferred)Knowledgeable in cyber security requirementsRelevant experience within IT/DT end user support and infra supportParticular experience with Dell & Apple products and M365 would be beneficialHands on Approach to solution solving and time managementAbility and willingness to travel nationally on an ad hoc but monthly basisPlease Note – Due to the confidential nature of the environments you will be working in; you will need to be a sole UK National and hold, or be eligible to obtain, UK security clearance to SC level.Desired Characteristics:Strong customer focus with a demonstrated ability to meet aggressive deadlines while maintaining strategic outcomes.Excellent communication skills, capable of interfacing with customers confidently and clearly.Ability to work independently on projects with a keen attention to detail.Highly collaborative and team-oriented with a positive, enthusiastic, and confident attitude.You can expect from usChallenging and exciting projectsA work environment where we understand that not everyone has the same expectations about their jobs, careers and work-life balance and we are happy to discuss flexibility requirements.Attractive compensation.Flexible benefits so you can build a package that fits your personal needs.
