Shift patterns: Any 5 from 6 (no Sunday working), starting between 4am-6am
Location: Hebburn, NE31 1SP – site is relocating on 30th Sept to Birtley, DH2 1AEWe are looking for a Class 2 driver to play a vital role in our distribution service.WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• You will be working 48hrs a week (9.6 hrs a day)
• You will be driving an 18 Tonne refrigerated vehicle
• Multi drop 3-6 locations
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (C)
• Experience in driving Class 2 vehicles – preferred
• Ok to work with food cages (Decanting Cages) that may weigh up-to 450KG
• Ok to do Multi drop deliveries to towns and city centers
