For an existing vacancy, we are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of HR and Privacy who aligns to our values and has passion for organizational excellence.Position Overview:
The Director of HR and Privacy, reporting to the President, is a member of the senior leadership team focused on the organizations’ strategic direction. The role works closely with members of the Trudell HR team to align corporate systems and practices. With direct responsibility for the foundation programs for People & Culture, Talent, Compensation, Health, Safety & Wellness, and Privacy. The successful candidate will oversee a team of HR professionals and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, health and safety standards, workforce strategy, leadership and coaching, organizational change, compensation management, and healthcare related privacy obligations. This role requires a forward-thinking leader dedicated to fostering a culture of trust, respect, and innovation throughout the organization; flexibility and adaptability are key attributes.Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Coaching: Foster a culture of leadership and accountabilities across the organization; provide coaching and mentorship to HR team members and managerial staff.
  • Workforce Strategy: Design and execute workforce planning strategies to optimize talent acquisition, development, and retention aligned with ProResp’s objectives.
  • Health and Safety, Wellness: Oversee the development and implementation of health and safety practices that promote a safe work environment and meet legislative requirements and best practices; encourage wellness initiatives
  • Privacy: Responsible to ensure compliance within the organization through policies and procedures; training and advocacy, reporting, investigation, and responsiveness to various stakeholders.
  • Organizational Change and Communications: Lead initiatives and implement corporate programs to ensure smooth transitions during organizational transformations; support teams with transparency and training.
  • Compensation: Oversee compensation and pay equity strategies to ensure competitive, equitable compensation; manage salary administration and performance evaluation processes.
  • Legislative Responsibilities: Stay abreast and ensure compliance to all relevant legislation requirements in Human Rights, ESA, AODA, PIPEA, PHIPA, AODA, and Occupational Health and Safety.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant with advanced HR Diploma
  • CHRL required, CHRE strongly preferred.
  • Privacy education or work experience preferred
  • Proven experience in a leadership HR role; demonstrated coaching capabilities and proven success managing HR teams and organizational change.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in HR and Privacy.

Working Hours:

  • Office based position – located in London ON: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Some flexibility will be needed from time to time for business priorities
  • Occasional travel required, Full G license in good standing required
