The Digital Design Intern provides support to the Events and Programming team, assisting with creating still and motion graphics for CNBC International’s digital outlets, including desktop and mobile services and social media accounts. The role is ideal for university undergraduates aspiring to explore a career in design, video production, social media and/or journalism.
There may also be opportunities to participate in learning and development programs and events led by the NBCUniversal Early Careers team, including contributing to the Company’s diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Work closely with graphic designers and producers on producing high-quality motion graphics for CNBC International’s digital video franchises
Create animations and infographics to bring news and feature stories to life for CNBC social media
Design eye-catching thumbnails for CNBC.com, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and other social platforms
Share and pitch ideas in team editorial meetings and brainstorming sessions
Students from be able to commit full time for 6 months
Students majoring in design, visual communications or similar
Knowledge of After Effects and Adobe Photoshop, or similar software
Interest in business news, economics and financial markets
Ability to prioritize a variety of tasks while operating under tight deadlines
A team player who likes working in a collaborative environment
Excellent verbal and written communication, organization and interpersonal skills to engage and interact with stakeholders at varying levels
Willingness to learn and pro-actively take initiative
