That’s why we work exclusively with motor insurance brokers to help get under the skin of the most difficult insurance risks, helping build products to meet their customer’s needs.The roleThe IQUW Credit & Political Risk offering indemnifies DFIs, commercial banks, traders, ECAs and corporates on their lending and asset exposures to contractual counterparties. These counterparties include both corporate (CR) and (sub-)sovereign (CF) entities, though the corporate credit risk component is a particular growth area. The CR book currently consists predominantly of investment-grade counterparties and well-known structures including term loans, RCFs, LCs, and others.This role will be critical in building upon and expanding our existing CR/CF capability to include i) the generation of internal obligor ratings and ii) analytical expertise in more heavily structured asset classes including Project Finance. The Analyst role represents a key member of our growing team and will be relied upon to provide extraordinary analytical expertise and regular updates across sectors and geographies to enable fast and informed underwriting decisions.The key to success in this role will be a highly detailed and analytical approach, cross-sector and asset class knowledge, excellent research and communication skills and a cutting-edge understanding of economic and business trends. You will need to take ownership of the analytical aspect of our product offering and be able to communicate with key stakeholders both internally and externally.Key responsibilities
