We have developed a sophisticated strategy for our business to achieve growth and value creation in the right markets and with the right means.Consumer Market Insights DACH Lead (d/w/m)JOB PURPOSEYou will be responsible for the identification and translation of consumer needs, insights and behaviours to guide the local IC marketing category strategy, category & brand performance, and for consumer guidance and delivery in the local market(s) across 6P pillars with focus on business performance (across key marketing initiatives), channel deep dives & customer initiativesWHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

  • Business Partnering – The role business partners the DACH General Manager and team, local CD teams and where needed with EU regional marketing team. This is a core role partnering the Local business teams and will work in tandem with European CMI IC Director both funnelling local opportunities for regional consideration and wider deployment and taking in regionally identified opportunities to bring them to market (across 6P, innovations, media mix, pricing & portfolio strategy to name a few)
  • Mining insights including consumer, category, and channels throughout end-to-end research and translate into actions to help build business strategy and drive growth
  • Strong focus on Channel & Shopping Insights to bring together a holistic view & see how best to drive executional growth (pricing, NRM, distribution); winning w customers (trade stories)
  • Lead the Full cycle of Insight roadmap DACH: Including (but not exclusive)
  • Represent and lead CMI agenda at local leadership forums/ relevant forums: Know the facts and present these meaningfully with recommendations
  • Lead performance tracking and identifying de-averaged growth opportunities within DACH countries through variety of holistic analysis
  • Lead in-market tracking/optimizations for market specific campaigns and uncover learnings and insights and embed into future campaign planning:
  • Partner with Analytics to understand ROI drivers of the market/category, across 6P
  • Partner with the media agency/media team to understand campaign/brand performance/drivers
  • Lead initiatives outside of project work to unlock growth opportunities
  • Lead/support regional IC workstreams as required, through Past learnings, Best Practices, External Orientation, Landscape and Competitor Analysis, Category opportunities and issues analysis, trend

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEEDExperiences & Qualifications

  • At least 7+ year Consumer Insight experience
  • Demonstrable track record of outstanding partnership with business partners and stakeholders, communication, OTIF delivery, strong point of view, identification of growth opportunities (How and Where to Win)
  • Outstanding experience of driving consumer and customer centricity and driving a consumer led agenda to drive growth in the business.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Leadership skills and potential to grow as a leader
  • Ability to magnify the power of others, and to build and nurture people (direct reports and beyond)

Skills

  • Rounded CMI experience, designing and land with impact studies across product, price, portfolio management, media, shopper insights.
  • Demonstrated experience of delivering and driving transformational action within the business through key landing points and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Think business and growth first and have a deep passion for consumers & customers
  • Learning Mindset: Constant Learning to keep pace with the environment and lead it. Being Updated on best-in-class insights across topics of interest and the ability to land a message to the satisfaction of all stakeholders is key.
  • Have good analytical thinking and communication skills to present clearly, simplify complex topics and influence decision making; communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workload as requests will likely be more than resources allow.
  • Can lead teams and is equally comfortable being a team player: accountable, open minded who likes to work in rapid and agile way
  • Good Academic Credentials, Digital Skills and Numeracy.
  • Sound German and English language skills are essential for this job (written and spoken).
