Consultant Clinical Oncologist- SarcomaWe are seeking to appoint a full time permanent Consultant Clinical Oncologist in Sarcoma.C.V RequiredMain duties of the jobThe London Sarcoma Service is one of largest specialist services in Europe providing comprehensive care for all soft tissue and bone sarcomas as well as gastrointestinal stromal tumours.This is a unique opportunity to join a world class service and a world class multi-disciplinary team together delivering excellent care and committed to research.You will join an experienced team of medical, clinical and paediatric oncologists. - MB,BS or equivalent
- Eligible for full registration with the GMC at time of appointment and hold a current licence to practise and revalidated as appropriate.
- On GMC Specialist Register for Oncology or within six months of attaining CCT.
- MRCP or equivalent NB: Non UK trained doctors must be on the GMC register and Specialist Register in Clinical Oncology by date of interview.
- FRCR or equivalent

- Higher degree (MD, PhD or equivalent)
Clinical ExperienceEssential
- Comprehensive clinical experience in clinical oncology
- Experience in sarcoma
- Experience of and ability to work in multidisciplinary team.

- Evidence of ability to take clinical responsibility above SpR grade
Clinical SkillsEssential
- Management of all aspects of care of patients undergoing palliative chemotherapy

- Undertaken advanced communications skills course
