**Great career development opportunities – grow with us.About the roleAs a member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for engineering estimates in a timely manner specific to the requirements of the client, to check and confirm the cost we are authorizing is fair, reasonable and related to the incident in question.Key Responsibilities:

• Check incident circumstances against work estimated for to see if the damage could be related to the incident.
• Check estimated costs are fair and reasonable.
• Check estimates are within customer specific rates if a network repairer has been allocated Amend estimates to correct customer specific rates if a network repairer has been allocated Negotiate with non-network repairers in order to bring inflated costs down.
• Authorize incident related work to repairers.
• Correctly value vehicles for total losses.
• Occasional repairer/site visits should the need arise

Skills and experience

• HGV, Commercial and fleet Motor engineering and body shop experience — required
• Audatex experience – required
• Motor claims handling – beneficial
• Client liaison experience — beneficial
• Experience working with all types Of vehicle – beneficial
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent written/verbal communication
