Apply today!Job DetailsJob Title: LGV Driver Class 1Department: TransportLocation: BasingstokePay: £44,474.4​000:00-06:00 16:00-20:00Principle Accountabilities: (These are the “significant chunks” of your role and there should be no more than 6-8 principal accountabilities for a role)1.To deliver assembled orders to our customer base in the South of England to a set delivery schedule, accurately and consistently.2.Ensure safe manual handling techniques are used and correct use of MHE appropriate to the role. Working alongside and within a team environment.3.Responsible for always working in a safe manner in accordance with road transport law, drivers hours regulations and Health & Safety regulations4.Driving in a safe and fuel efficient manner at all times. Working to and complying with local legislative requirements & company policies and procedure5.Working to operational key performance indicators and as an individual / team member work to address any shortfalls. Working within a physically demanding environment..Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required: (Please detail the educational qualification and amount of experience (including any relevant industry sectors/organisations required by the role).

• Valid Driver’s HGV (C or C+E) licence, Driver’s CPC and Digi Card
• Previous experience of driving commercial vehicles; attic’s and rigid at night
• Good geographical knowledge of the United Kingdom.
• Sound knowledge of tachograph regulations and WTD
• Sound knowledge of tachograth manual entries
• Ability to read, understand and follow directions/instructions
• Ability to count accurately and to perform simple math calculations
• Ability to adhere to procedures and safe systems of work
• Ability to carry out manual handling and all other requirements of the role
