Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.Want to be a part of it?What will you be doing?As our Civil Site Team Leader you’ll be part of our Construction Team working on our Anglian Water contract based in Colchester.Working under the Construction Manager the Civil Site Team Leader will be responsible for the day-to-day management of delivery teams and sub-contractors on site.This role will require the effective utilisation of time and resources to meet budgets and delivery programmes.You’ll be expected to carry out the implementation and monitoring of health, safety, quality and performance standards. Ensuring all work meets required water industry regulations AW and MWS approved standards.You’ll be accountable for SHEQ performance of Projects, including undertaking and record findings of periodic SHEQ visits.Committed to driving cultural change into the Delivery and Design Teams. Eliminating/minimising physical and nonphysical waste – i.e. recycling techniques, workshop recharges, standing time etc.You’ll be responsible for communicating and recording all Corporate, SHEQ and Business Unit briefings. All briefings/inductions are recorded on relevant forms and retained for reference.Ensure appropriate welfare is available for use and well maintained throughout the construction phase. You will ensure all site base personnel hold relevant qualifications and training to carry out their duties.You’ll be responsible for timely completion of multiple concurrent projects, safely and within budget, attending internal and external review and progress meetings.Coordinate and liaise with suppliers, specialist sub-contractors, in-house functions, site installation & construction teams.Monitor SHEA, legislative & programme performance of sub-contractor as per own team.You’ll be responsible for all SHEQ issues on site will form part of your role. This includes the completion of paperwork, including weekly safety, environmental and quality inspections, tool-box talks, site-specific risk assessments & method statements.Ensuring Personal Health and Safety & MTRA are completed and valid. Ensure near misses are recorded through good catch. Carrying out ad hoc risk assessment as necessary.What you’ll bring
