Job Title: Business Development ManagerLocation: London or Malta (Hybrid 1-2 days a week in office)
Salary: £60,000 – £80,000 per annum + 10% commission (18 months, uncapped)

Led by highly influential founders with a proven track record in the high-risk payments ecosystem, this company has developed a cutting-edge orchestration solution. Their platform offers seamless integration with over 60 European acquirers, a vast array of alternative payment methods (APMs), gateways, and other payment services, all through a single API. This empowers high-risk merchants, particularly within the iGaming space, to optimize and simplify their payment processes.As the company scales, they are looking to hire six additional commercial professionals in 2025, starting with this pivotal Business Development Manager role.The RoleAs the first commercial hire of 2025, you will play a critical role in driving new business growth. Your primary focus will be on the iGaming sector, but you’ll also have the flexibility to explore opportunities within other high-risk verticals such as Forex and Crypto.This is a full end-to-end sales role where you will take ownership of the entire sales cycle. From prospecting and cold outreach to presenting solutions, negotiating contracts, and closing deals, you’ll have the autonomy to leverage any sales technique. Your efforts will also extend to attending events, tradeshows, and roundtables, and building partnerships that amplify the company’s reach.Given the company’s ambitious plans, high-performing individuals will have the opportunity to progress into sales leadership roles and lead their own teams as verticals expand.Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business acquisition within the iGaming sector and other high-risk verticals.
  • Manage the full sales process, from prospecting to closing, while maintaining high accountability for performance metrics.
  • Build and execute personalized sales cadences using cold calls, emails, events, and other channels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Marketing, Compliance, and Customer Success to support sales efforts.
  • Maintain a high-quality CRM, ensuring accurate data and pipeline management.
  • Contribute to the company’s growth by identifying new opportunities and building long-term client relationships.

What You’ll BringEssential Skills and Experience:

  • 2-5 years of experience selling payment solutions into the iGaming sector.
  • Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem, including acquirers, issuers, APMs, and PayFac’s.
  • Knowledge of iGaming regulatory requirements and compliance considerations.
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue-based KPIs and implementing successful sales strategies.
  • Self-motivated and resilient, with a strong hunger for success and the ability to thrive in a start-up environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work across teams.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience selling to other high-risk verticals, such as Forex or Crypto.
  • Previous experience in Payment Orchestration.
  • Experience working in a start-up or scale-up environment.
