Role: Senior / Intermediate Building Services Engineer
Location: Oxford

  • Lead or contribute to the design and specification of mechanical and/or electrical systems, ensuring compliance with legislative and safety standards.
  • Take ownership of design deliverables and maintain a high standard of technical quality and innovation.
  • Supervise installations and manage contractors to ensure delivery aligns with project specifications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.
  • Support the development of junior team members through training and mentoring.
  • Participate in fee tendering and support business development activities.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
  • Champion Health and Safety best practices, including carrying out risk assessments.

About You

  • Strong experience in the design of mechanical and/or electrical building services is essential.
  • Proven track record in project delivery, including contractor and client coordination.
  • Confident communicator and team player with excellent leadership potential.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and quality assurance.
  • Knowledge of current regulations, legislation, and industry standards.
  • Motivated to achieve both project success and client satisfaction.
