Our client, an international architectural practice with offices in London and New York, whose diverse portfolio spans the United Kingdom, Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East, is looking for a bid coordinator/writer to join its award-winning practice in London.We are seeking a creative and ambitious individual who resonates with our approach and can take the lead on creating a cohesive and consistent studio profile, helping us shape our voice in the architectural industry.About the role:Working with the principal and senior team to deliver high-quality bid documents, PQQs, case studies, competition entries, award submissions, and newslettersResponsible for collaborating with the marketing manager in writing content for use in the bids, presentations, and all supporting documentation, ensuring a cohesive and consistent approachIdentifying tender opportunities and monitoring tender portals and OJEU notices, and presenting relevant opportunities to the management teamResponsible for producing and compiling bid documents for RFQs and solicitations, including but not limited to composing company profiles, team organizational charts, design approach and methodology documents, and team CVsManaging and updating writing in all marketing collateral including publications, portfolios, and CVsReviewing competition lists and compiling PQQs, tenders, proposals, presentationsSkills:Demonstrable prior experience writing bids in an architectural practice is essentialExcellent writing skills – creative writing or journalism background is preferredExperience in bid writing within the architectural industry for at least 2 yearsExcellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Excellent copywriting and copyediting skillsExcellent PowerPoint and InDesign skillsSelf-motivated and enthusiasticAutonomous working and proactiveBenefits:Salary dependent on experiencePerformance-related discretionary bonus system availableFruit, snacks, and refreshments available for all staff membersOffice social events20 days annual leave plus three discretionary days over the Christmas periodRegular CPD seminars and events to cover training needsTime off in lieu is available for pre-approved overtime exceeding specified hoursThis is a full-time position with an immediate start date.
