Driver Hire Winchester is on the lookout for a skilled and experienced Forklift Driver with an accredited B3 Counterbalance Licence or Telehandler Licence to join our client’s dynamic team.As a Forklift Truck Driver, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the Service Centre operates smoothly and efficiently. Your main responsibilities will include safely moving equipment, organising stock, and preparing items for hire-all while maintaining a safe and tidy workspace.Position Details

• Type: 12-week temp-to-perm role
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Start times between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM (8-10-hour shifts)
• Location: Southampton & Winchester area

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to handle large equipment in the yard.
• Organise and prepare equipment for customer hire.
• Check, store, and maintain hired equipment.
• Keep the yard and workshop clean and safe.
• Interact with customers during loading and unloading processes.

What We’re Looking For

• A valid and up-to-date B3 Counterbalance Forklift Licence or Telehandler Licence.
• Reliable transport for commuting to and from the site.
• Good physical fitness to meet job demands.
• Previous forklift experience is essential.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• A proactive approach to health and safety procedures.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
