Associate – Listed Futures and Options Operations (APAC) in CENTRAL SINGAPORE, Singapore

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Capital Markets Middle Office Associate to join our team in Singapore.

In this role, you will:

  • Involved in trade management across several exchanges and middle office platforms.

  • Perform day to day operations to deliver quality service to internal/external clients on trades and positions

  • Daily direct liaison with clients, client services teams and Futures Commission Merchant (FCM) colleagues in London and US.

  • Liasing and working closely with internal teams as well as exchange and clearing brokers to promptly resolve trade breaks and exceptions.

  • Perform daily trade reconciliation of trades position and cash for Wells Fargo’s clients on the various exchanges.

  • Strong attention to detail is required along with the necessary knowledge of risk impacts across the range of markets covered.

  • Use of Exchange Clearing Platforms and back-office systems such as EXCHANGE GUI’s, CLEARVISION, GMI

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Capital Markets industry experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and Client Service skills

  • 1-3 years of working experience of working in a busy FCM clearing tea,

  • Good understanding of futures and options as well as some knowledge of cleared OTC swaps

  • Good knowledge of Exchange GUI’s and Functionality

  • Directly cleared exchanges will include ICE, EUREX, CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX

  • Good knowledge of middleware clearing platforms – primarily ClearVision is essential.

  • Flexibility to do shift work
