- That they hold asbestos industry qualifications such as the BOHS P402 (Desirable to hold P403, P404 and or P405)
- Comprehensive experience of carrying out Management, Management re-inspection, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys for a UKAS accredited consultancy with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
- Experience of handling and managing asbestos data associated with asbestos risk assessments.
- Experience of maintaining Asbestos Management processes.
- An up-to-date knowledge of Asbestos Health and Safety legislation, Approved Codes of Practice and Guidance.
- Strong awareness of Health and Safety legislation, in addition to knowledge of other relevant statutory legislation.
- Experience of contractor management and knowledge of maintenance activities within buildings.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to advise, support, challenge and explain complex information to multiple stakeholders and to form strong working relationships with colleagues across a large organisation.
- Excellent Organisational skills and with the ability to solve problems with minimal supervision.
- Able to identify own training needs and areas of development when required.
- Ability to work under pressure, to tight deadlines and able to be flexible in their approach depending on the requirements of the team.
