As Application Engineer for Fluid Handling, you are our expert working on Industry & Energy activities, providing the best suited product specifications for any application and supporting our Sales Channels in achieving short- and long-term business objectives.
You’re familiar with the specified application at end users & OEs and provide agile support to our customers on site or trouble shooting where required.
You provide the voice of the customer, share specific market needs, input the innovation direction to Product Development and implement the new product validation both in lab and in field as well as giving the final evaluation.
Training of technical content to customers and internal stakeholders will be a great opportunity to connect.
Bachelor Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Science or Business studies (University/University of Applied Science)

3 years professional experience in application engineering, technical consulting, project management or technical sales,

Experience with fluid handling, hoses, hose fittings, thermoplastics, especially in the fields of industrial or energy markets

Project management experience in major projects, especially in international business environment
-
Project management experience specifically within an international business environment is highly desirable
-
Experience working with intercultural and interdisciplinary teams
-
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
-
Comfortable in public speaking, presentations and training others

Advanced computer literacy skills, in particular Microsoft Office 365
-
Additionally, you will have the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, particularly with external clients
