The successful candidate will work with the commercial, marketing, internal support and technical teams, to achieve financial goals. With a clear understanding and background of the life science space in Singapore, the Account Manager will strive to achieve assigned targets, strengthen customer relations, drive growth and development within an existing customer base and expand market penetration and profitability. Responsibilities:
Drive revenue growth and consistently achieve or exceed sales target in assigned territory.
Applies CRM tool (SFDC) to drive funnel management and forecast accuracy.
Identify new business opportunities and strategies to expand market presence within the above-mentioned sectors.
Clear understanding of customer’s research and requirements and work with Technical Sales Team on the value proposition for the identified products.
Leverage on available resources to effectively implement company’s marketing plan, strategies, and sales processes.
Takes lead in developing account management strategies to drive growth in identified key accounts. To provide updates on status and action plans during bi-monthly team meeting.
Regularly visit customers and ensure high level of support for their continued business
KOL (Key Opinion Leader) development and engagement – To drive strategic partnership
Proactive updates and feedback, including but not limited to – market outlook, competition landscape, new product launch etc.
Collaborate with internal teams (E.g. Customer Service, Technical Support etc.) to provide timely response as to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Coordinate with customer service team to ensure timely order fulfilment and resolve any issues relating to delivery or invoicing
To work closely with Technical Support Team on scheduling of product demo or trainings, technical product issues, respond to technical specification etc.
Be an advocate for Thermo Fisher Scientific and our 4Is. Take all opportunities for cross selling and business development opportunities with other divisions.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field, preferably in Biomedical Science, Biochemistry or related field with understanding of Life Science laboratory workflow.
Proven track record in account management, with a 3+ years of experience within Life Science Industry, preferably in Research and/or BioTech sector.
Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
Highly motivated and ambitious individual who thrives in a driven environment
Organized, able to work independently and in teams within a highly matrix organization
Prior experience with SFDC CRM and A*STAR ePR/ITQ process will be a plus
Ability to strictly adhere to company policies and determine appropriate pricing strategies
