Working on several key areas within Debt Operations –Prepayment (BAU and SMART), Payment Schemes, Early Collections (live and Final Debt), Non-Standard Debt and Live and Final Debt DCA collections. Using process knowledge, data and reporting insight to drive process and debt recovery improvements.What you’ll be doing
- Accountability for root cause analysis, business improvement & change, reporting, identification and establishment of effective process controls
- Use existing business knowledge and technical expertise to problem solve and process design to ensure the successful implementation of system and process improvements
- Debt recovery and debt mitigation
- Lead the analysis, reporting, improvement reviews and development of business improvement plans
- Project management of recommended solutions through to successful implementation
- Proactive analysis of KPIs / CTQs to identify trends and issues
- Development of business performance reports using a variety of systems
What you’ll bring
- A good understanding of Prepayment, Payment schemes and debt collection practices and processes
- The ability to understand complexity quickly and make sound decisions with confidence and clarity within a complex and fast-moving environment
- Well-developed project and programme management skills and experience of leading change
- Experience of leading a successful team, including application of performance management
- Understanding of the centre of excellence methodologies and general IT business process
- Strong experience in utilities industry with a clear understanding of the complexities inherent in the de-regulated electricity and gas markets
Minimum Criteria
- Proven record of driving improvements with SAP and Dunning strategies and collection steps
- Experience of debt collections systems, processes models and policies
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including communication, teamwork, facilitation and negotiation
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Financial and Business Acumen, especially the ability to manage performance data and KPIs
- Highly numerate and analytical
