Company Secretarial AssistantWe’re working with a FTSE 250 organisation that is expanding its Corporate Secretarial Services team and it is looking for a Company Secretarial Assistant to join the team. What You’ll Be DoingKey responsibilities include:
- Supporting annual compliance work, routine company changes and share capital updates
- Drafting board minutes, shareholder resolutions and statutory filings
- Maintaining electronic corporate records via Diligent Entities
- Assisting with board meeting preparation, collation of papers and minute drafting
- Preparing documentation for AGMs and general meetings
- Conducting benchmarking and research into corporate governance best practices
- Supporting with regulatory guidance related to the Companies Act, Listing Rules and Market Abuse Regulation
- Managing ad hoc administrative tasks such as signatory requests, secretary certificates and notarisation
- Ensuring accurate and timely invoicing for completed work
You’ll also follow a structured development plan, with ongoing training and support to help you progress through your company secretarial career.About You:We’re looking for an enthusiastic, proactive professional who is keen to grow within the company secretarial field. You will ideally have:
- Started or be part-way through the CGI qualification (or hold a relevant qualification with suitable experience)
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Great organisational skills and attention to detail
- A genuine interest in corporate governance and statutory compliance
- A willingness to learn, receive feedback and develop new skills
