If you are a dynamic, innovative and forward-thinking Neurologist with a passion for your profession and an enthusiasm to be part of a Trust striving to be the best, get in touch to see what a career at Mid-Yorkshire could be like for you in the Department of Neurology.The Department of Neurology at Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust is an integral part of the wider Neurosciences Group which includes: Clinical Neurophysiology, Stroke Medicine, The Regional Spinal Injuries Rehabilitation Centre, and Neuro -Rehabilitation services.The Department of Neurology delivers all elements of acute and elective care as follows:– a number of outpatient services for patients with a variety of different general and specialist neurological conditions– an inpatient in-reach service– Day case and diagnostic procedures which are carried out in the Medical Infusion Unit (MIU)– a weekly Neuro Radiology MDTMain duties of the jobOutpatients (general and specialist)Inpatient in-reach service to wards within the Trust following referral to Neurology as part of a daily Acute Neurologist rota.Any Urgent and Emergency Care duties including out-of-hours on-call; schedules will take due account of the provisions of working time regulations and safe working (currently none in place)Supporting Professional Activities in accordance with the Trust Framework, with at least a minimum of 1.5 SPAs included in the core 10PA timetable.
