With opportunities to refine processes, analyze project data, and collaborate across international teams, this position combines strategic leadership, high-quality execution standards, and innovation for career growth in biopharma.How you will contribute:

  • Lead and manage diverse projects related to product implementation, assurance, production technology, and efficiency improvements using established project management standards.
  • Ensure high-quality project execution that meets Takeda’s internal standards for functionality, timelines, quality, cost, EHS, and GxP compliance.
  • Act as the local project manager for global initiatives, coordinating with international teams.
  • Develop and refine project management processes.
  • Maintain and oversee the project database, ensuring data quality and providing training/support to users.
  • Analyze project-related data from project database and other sources using tools like Power BI, including the compilation of management overviews.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement projects and provide guidance to project team members.
  • Manage project portfolios, including cost estimation, feasibility studies, and coordination with Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and other interfaces.
  • Prepare project documentation, facilitate decision/problem-solving meetings, and communicate updates to key committees.
  • Generate and present reports on project performance, portfolio overview, and program data.
  • Participate in improving project management processes and administrative duties.
  • Mentor and train junior project managers or new team members during project execution.

In this position you will report to the Project Management Lead.What you bring to Takeda:

  • Academic background in natural sciences / engineering / construction or related fields, ideally at the university level.
  • Multiple years of project management experience with medium to highly complex projects, preferably holding a PM certification (e.g., PMI or IPMA Level B) and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Proven project management experience within the pharmaceutical industry, demonstrating a structured and holistic approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong organizational skills, data compilation and analysis capabilities, and the ability to think strategically and creatively to develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent collaboration and teamwork abilities, alongside maturity, social competency, and troubleshooting expertise.
  • Proficiency in German and English (spoken and written) and advanced computing skills, with awareness of quality systems within the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Firm presentation and communication skills in both German and English.

  • A competitive remuneration package with a minimum salary of € 4.157,14 gross per month (full-time, collective wage agreement for the chemical industry) – the actual salary is higher and depends on your professional experience and qualifications.
