Does that sound interesting? – Then we are looking for you for our Transition & Launch team in Vienna as a Transition Engineer (m/f/d) – Home office possible You will be part of our effort to create the next generation of information and workflow solutions for our Diagnostic Imaging portfolio. Your new role: Backing up a product from development to the introduction phase Manage changes in a controlled manner from product design to introduction into the field Acting as a communication channel between development and regional key stake holders Be part of strategical decisions when it comes to new products and functionality which have an impact on live customer sites Gain experience with our product portfolio Cross-integration and validation of our products Management of pilot and demo sites (field testing) Understand customers’ needs, derive requirements Acting as a service companion in the first real life installations for regional key stakeholders; Leading the product to production Establish and maintain communication channels for the regions after the last phase of product introduction Transfer knowledge throughout the organization Documentation from a service perspective Technical workshops and trainings for regional key stakeholders (internal and external to the company) Provide feedback on your project activities to accountable parties Your skills: A master’s, bachelor’s or equivalent degree with a strong academic performance Previous Service Transition and Service Design knowledge of importance, but not mandatory Knowledge of healthcare and medical imaging and communication standards like HL7, DICOM etc Knowledge of workflow within a hospital/clinical environment or experience within the healthcare sector is a plus PACS / RIS System experience is a plus Strong interpersonal skills and customer service focus Excellent training and presentation abilities Fluency in English (verbal and written) Good understanding of and practice with virtualization solutions Good understanding of (Linux) operating systems and computer networks Knowledge about containerization of applications and orchestration is an asset Track record in leading complex projects in a software or high-tech field, with proven experience utilizing various project management methodologies Requirements engineering preferred, but not mandatory Understanding of software development processes Experience with regulations applicable to medical devices preferred, but not mandatory Product- or Program Management experience preferred, but not mandatory Positive attitude, proactive, self-starter, both action and results oriented Well-developed analytical, diagnostic and problem resolution skills A strong team player, maintaining a high level of quality in a challenging environment Continuous learning orientation; keeping aware of new and emerging technologies Technical aptitude mixed with a solid clinical hospital background preferred Willingness to travel and work out of hours if required.
