Your day at NTT DATA
The Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition is a senior management role, accountable for the delivery of workforce requirements across the area which they cover, through implementation of talent acquisition strategies and initiatives in broad areas such as employer branding, hiring plans and process, talent acquisition process definition, standardization and optimization.
This role is responsible for the management of the talent acquisition function for their area of responsibility, including employee performance, policy compliance, vendor management and legal compliance whilst fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on operational excellence.
What you’ll be doing
Key Responsibilities:

Guides on talent acquisition strategy in alignment with the organisation’s overall business goals. This includes identifying talent needs, creating recruitment plans, and executing effective hiring strategies.

Lead and manages part of the talent acquisition team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure recruitment goals are met efficiently and effectively.

Manages candidate sourcing efforts using various channels, such as job boards, social media, networking, and talent databases, to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.

Implements candidate assessment methods and interview techniques to evaluate candidates’ qualifications, skills, and cultural fit with the organisation.

Guides on optimisation of the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring it is streamlined, efficient, and compliant with relevant labour laws and regulations.

Utilize talent analytics and recruitment metrics to track and measure the effectiveness of talent acquisition efforts, providing data-driven insights to make informed decisions.

Stays updated on recruitment technology trends and leverage relevant tools, such as the CRM and applicant tracking systems (ATS), to optimize the recruitment process.

Ensures compliance with employment laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines throughout the recruitment process.

Act as an ambassador for the organisation’s employer brand, promoting its values, culture, and opportunities to attract top talent.

Effectively manages the talent acquisition budget for their area, allocating resources appropriately to achieve recruitment goals while maintaining cost-efficiency.

Drives continuous improvement in talent acquisition practices, seeking opportunities to enhance recruitment outcomes and processes.
Knowledge and Attributes:

Extended knowledge of talent acquisition strategies, best practices, and industry trends to attract and retain top talent.

Extended understanding of the end-to-end recruitment process, from candidate sourcing and assessment to offer management and onboarding.

Extended knowledge of relevant labor laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines related to talent acquisition and candidate selection.

Ability to stay updated on talent market trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor analysis to inform talent acquisition strategies.

Extended knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment software, and other technology used to streamline the recruitment process.

Extended knowledge of employer branding initiatives to promote the organization as an employer of choice and enhance its reputation in the talent market.

Extended line manager experience to guide and mentor the talent acquisition team and inspire them to achieve recruitment goals.

Extended ability to develop and execute talent acquisition plans aligned with the organization’s overall business objectives.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey talent acquisition strategies and results to stakeholders.

Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, hiring managers, and external partners.

Ability to utilize talent analytics and recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of talent acquisition efforts and make data-driven decisions.

Open to new ideas and embracing innovative recruitment practices and technologies.
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the field of Human Resources or related field.

Relevant certifications are beneficial.
Required Experience:

Extended demonstrated experience in talent acquisition.

Extended demonstrated experience in leading and managing talent acquisition teams, overseeing recruitment processes, and implementing effective talent acquisition strategies.

Extended demonstrated experience in talent sourcing, candidate assessment, and implementing best practices for attracting and hiring top candidates.
-
Extended expertise in employer branding initiatives to enhance the organization’s reputation and attract top talent.

Extended demonstrated experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment software, and other tools to streamline the recruitment process.
