APAC Regional Analyst

As the world’s largest manager of commercial buildings, we take proactive measures to make our and our clients’ properties more environmentally sound. We have adopted a science-based greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction target to significantly reduce the emissions generated through our operations and by the properties we manage. Our end-to-end decarbonization strategy addresses all emissions scopes and a clear strategy to help our clients achieve their climate commitments. Within this decarbonization approach, operational efficiency and energy management is the first step.

CBRE’s Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) creates value, develops workplace strategies, and improves business outcomes for occupiers of commercial real estate through our primary services—including facilities management, advisory and transactions, project management, and more. Within our facilities management business is our global Asset Performance and Energy Excellence (APEX) team, working with our clients to achieve outcomes such as optimized energy spend, lower total cost of ownership, and reduced carbon emissions.

The purpose of this position is to support and help grow Global Work Solutions (GWS) Enterprise business and clients.

The successful candidate will work closely with the wider sustainability teams across APAC, other internal functions and will receive strong support from leadership and the wider CBRE community.

Person Specification/Requirements

Profile/Experience

¾ Understanding of APAC and its nuances and complexities

¾ Excellent data analytical skills

¾ Understanding of sustainability related corporate reporting frameworks and standards.

¾ Understanding of key, multi-market schemes, such as SBTi, Carbon Inventories, Climate Risk Mapping, Decarbonisation Pathways (project experience is a plus)

¾ Awareness of current and future environmental legislation

¾ Understanding of market drivers for sustainability.

¾ Work experience in either sustainability related or real estate related role

¾ Work experience for a large Multi-national company

Qualifications

¾ Educated to degree level (minimum 2:1) ideally in a sustainability related subject.
